Rhys Wang has extensive experience in software engineering, beginning with a role as a Software Engineer Assistant and subsequently a Software Engineer at Fortinet from 2005 to 2008. Following this, Rhys joined Waymo in 2012, serving as a Senior Software Engineer until 2020, and currently holds the position of Software Architect. In this role, Rhys has been instrumental in designing advanced self-driving systems that prioritize safety and reliability in complex urban environments. Rhys holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of the Pacific.
