Soojung Lee

Soojung (Ha) Lee is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in various technology firms. At Waymo since March 2020, Lee specializes in UX engineering for autonomous cars, focusing on the in-car infotainment system to enhance the robotaxi service. Prior to this, Lee worked at Google from February 2016 to March 2020, contributing to the development of the Google Expeditions VR/AR learning tool and the Emmy award-winning Toontastic app. Earlier experience includes a role at LinkedIn, where Lee worked on the open-source REST framework (Rest.li) from August 2014 to January 2016, and a software engineering internship at Google in the summer of 2013, focusing on the frontend of the Fans and Insights feature for YouTube. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Sciences, both from Carnegie Mellon University, completed in 2014.
