Steven M.

Steven M. is an experienced structural engineer with a robust background in automotive and autonomous vehicle platform development. From 2005 to 2016, Steven worked at General Motors, contributing to major platforms such as the Chevrolet Volt and Cadillac CT series, with a focus on body structure and integration. Following this, from 2016 to 2020, Steven was a senior structural engineer at Apple, involved in the Apple Car/Project Titan initiative, where responsibilities included designing structural components and integrating advanced sensor systems for autonomous prototypes. Currently, since 2021, Steven serves as a senior engineer at Waymo, playing a pivotal role in the Robotaxi platform's structural integration and leading the design of battery enclosures and crash energy management structures. Steven holds a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from Michigan State University and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
