Sugandha Sangal

Sugandha Sangal is an experienced product manager with a strong background in autonomy and robotics. Currently serving as Group Product Manager, Commercialization & Reliability at Waymo since July 2019, Sugandha also held various roles at Uber Advanced Technologies Group from January 2016 to July 2019, including Product Manager for Autonomy and Product Manager for the Simulation Platform. Responsibilities included creating a safe driving personality for self-driving cars, developing an offline testing system for autonomy, and leading a team in analyzing autonomy failures. Sugandha's early career included a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at Carnegie Mellon University and an internship as a Perception Software Developer at Volkswagen Group of America. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Robotic Systems Development from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology.
