Suyi Kim

Suyi Kim serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Waymo, an autonomous driving technology subsidiary of Alphabet, since November 2021. Kim has been with CPP Investments since November 2007, currently holding the position of Global Head of Private Equity and previously serving as Head of Asia Pacific. In the past, Kim held significant roles including Managing Director and Head of Private Equity Asia at the Securities and Futures Commission from March 2020 to March 2022, and board memberships at Hong Kong Broadband and HomePlus. Early career experience includes roles at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, The Carlyle Group, McKinsey & Company, and PwC. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Seoul National University.
