Tyler Ross is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in managing engineering teams and developing software solutions. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Waymo since January 2020, Tyler oversees the Fleet Infrastructure team responsible for tools that manage the operation of Waymo's fleet. Prior to this role, Tyler held various positions at Google from February 2008 to January 2020, including Engineering Manager III and Staff Software Engineer. Tyler's earlier career includes engineering roles at Revcube Media, Inc., Lyris Technologies, Zada, Biby Engineering, and a client services position at Oberlin College. Additionally, Tyler has a foundational experience as a Software Engineer in Test intern at Microsoft. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Psychology from Oberlin College, completed in 1993.
