Derek Bellinger

Derek Bellinger has over 23 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Derek started their career in 1993 as a Customer Assistance Agent at Pitney Bowes. From 1995 to 1996, they worked as a Grassroots Lobbyist and Northeastern Regional Field Coordinator at Nelson Communications Group/Western Strategies. In 1996, they joined Dun and Bradstreet as a Telecenter Leader, progressing to roles such as Telecenter Manager, Business Analyst, and Senior Consultant. In 2003, they moved to Wachovia Corp, where they held positions such as Financial Center Manager, Store Manager II, and Assistant Vice President. During their time at Wachovia Corp, they were also involved in merger/integration activities. In 2012, they joined NBT Bank as a Multi-Site Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President, overseeing multiple branch locations. Currently, they work at Wayne Bank as a Vice President, supporting branch locations and residential lending goals in Northeastern PA.

Derek Bellinger attended Niskayuna High School from 1984 to 1988. Derek then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 1993. Later, they earned a Masters of Science degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Scranton from 2000 to 2002.
