Sara Tyner Larson, M.S., IPMA-SCP has a diverse work experience. Sara started their career at the United States Air Force in 2014, where they held various roles such as Lead School Age Program Supervisor and Executive Assistant. In 2016, they became the Assistant Director for Child Development and Program Manager for Youth Programs. Additionally, they worked as a Civilian Pay Technician during this time. In 2019, Sara joined the Wayne County Government in North Carolina as the Assistant Director of Human Resources, later becoming the Human Resources Director. Sara also ventured into entrepreneurship in 2020 as the Business Owner of Black Sheep Signings, LLC.

Sara Tyner Larson, M.S., IPMA-SCP, holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management from Western Governors University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Education from the same institution, attending from 2009 to 2011. Their educational journey also includes their completion of high school at Darlington High School from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their academic achievements, Sara has obtained various certifications, such as the Certified Professional - Human Resource (IPMA-CP) from the INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION FOR HR in November 2021, and certifications in Assets in Accounting and Bookkeeping Basics from Coursera in 2022. Sara has also earned certificates in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, and in being a National Notary Association Certified Signing Agent from the National Notary Association, both attained in 2021. Furthermore, they completed the TPS Switched program from The Paradigm Switch in 2011.
