Cintia Brookins

Cintia Brookins has a diverse work experience ranging from their recent role as a Financial Empowerment Counselor at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency to their previous roles as a Community Resource Navigator at the same organization. Cintia also worked as a Reading Tutor for AmeriCorps and as a Direct Intake Specialist for Wayne Metro Community Action Agency. Prior to their involvement in community initiatives, Cintia was the Founder of Mama's Cooking, a restaurant that aimed to provide delicious food and a great ambiance for family and friends. Cintia also gained experience as a Kitchen Specialist at Edward's Cafe and Caterer, where they worked in various departments and contributed to the company's success. Cintia's earlier work experience includes a role as a Sales Associate at Bed Bath & Beyond.

Cintia Brookins has an Associate's degree in Social Work from Oakland Community College, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019.
