Sherri' Wilkerson-Waller

Sherri Wilkerson-Waller has a diverse background in human resources, with experience in various roles and industries. Sherri' most recently worked as a Human Resources Manager at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency. Prior to that, they worked as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Faurecia, where they coordinated with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and sourced applicants through online channels. Sherri' also created job descriptions and interview questions and organized job fairs and recruitment events. Before that, Sherri worked as a Human Resources Generalist in the automotive industry, where they promoted employee relations and communicated HR policies and practices. Sherri' also served as a Human Resources Specialist at The Professional Group, where they were responsible for recruiting top talent for stadium and entertainment venues. Sherri's early experience includes working as an HR Clerk for the City of Detroit, where they maintained personnel records and processed employment applications.

Sherri Wilkerson-Waller began their education journey in 2008 at Eastern Michigan University. Sherri' pursued a Bachelor of Science degree, focusing on Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, and Organizational Communication. Their studies ended in 2013.

In 2018, Sherri continued their education at the University of Phoenix, where they obtained a Human Resource Management Certificate. This program included coursework in Employment Law, Risk Management, Compensation, and Employee Development. Sherri' completed this certificate in 2019.

Following their certificate, Sherri pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Phoenix. Their MBA program began in 2019 and is set to conclude in 2022.
