Aaron M. Dougherty

Aaron M. Dougherty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fundraising, research, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Prospect Research Analyst at Wayne State University, Aaron coordinates grant application strategies for the University’s Foundation and Corporate Relations teams. Previous roles include Court Liaison and Economic Case Worker at the Salvation Army, where Aaron monitored applications for Covid Emergency Relief Assistance, and Development Manager at Fair Lane, focusing on fundraising and donor events. With a strong background in leadership as Executive Director for multiple historical societies, Aaron has effectively managed teams, developed communication materials, and engaged with stakeholders to secure grants and enhance community outreach.
