Chris Drake

Chris Drake is a highly experienced professional in the field of medicine and psychology, currently serving as a Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine since January 2022, and holding the position of Director of Sleep Research at Henry Ford Hospital since May 1999. Additional roles include Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Michigan Medical School and Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Wayne State University, both since 2016 and 2010 respectively. Drake has also been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Henry Ford Hospital Sleep Disorders and Research Center since May 1999, and serves as Principal Investigator at the National Institute of Mental Health since April 2004. Previously, Chris held the role of Chairman of the Board at the National Sleep Foundation until June 2014 and served on the Board of Directors for the US Navy from January 1987 to January 1989. Academic qualifications include a B.S. in Psychology from Penn State University and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Bowling Green State University.
