Garrett McManaway

Garrett McManaway currently serves as the Sr. Director of Information Security & Compliance and CISO at Wayne State University, a position held since November 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Manager of Global Security Operations at Delphi, where responsibilities involved establishing security operations functions, and as Manager of Threat Management Service at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, focusing on strategic direction in security capabilities. Garrett held various positions at IBM, managing security services and operations, and began a career at Asset Acceptance as an IT Support Specialist. Garrett holds a Master’s degree in Information Assurance from Walsh College and a Bachelor's degree in Open Systems from Baker College of Flint.
