Hengguang Li

Hengguang Li currently serves as the Mathematics Department Chair and Professor of Mathematics at Wayne State University, where also holds the position of Founding Director of the Computation, AI, and Data Science (CAD) Initiative. Since January 2024, Hengguang Li has been the Vice President of the Great Lakes Section of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) and is the Founder of Megrez Education since January 2020. Previously, Hengguang Li contributed as a Research Fellow at the Air Force Office of Scientific Research in 2015 and held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and Syracuse University. Hengguang Li earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics and a Ph.D. Minor in High Performance Computing from Penn State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computational Mathematics from Peking University.
