Jenny Porada

Jenny Porada is an experienced web development professional serving as the Associate Director of Web Development at Wayne State University since September 2014, where management of a remote team focuses on maintaining homegrown applications and overseeing significant upgrades to an in-house CMS. Prior to this role, Jenny utilized Agile methodologies as the Manager of Web Development, emphasizing code reviews and project organization. Additionally, Jenny has a history as a Frontend Web Developer, where innovative templates and accessible websites were created. Since May 2007, Jenny has operated as a freelance designer and developer under Jenny Makes Things, producing responsive templates and engaging in artistic endeavors. Previous roles include web development at Tidal Labs, graphic design at Coventure Media, technical support at Savvis, and customer service at Enterprise Holdings Inc. Jenny is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Wayne State University, expected to complete in 2026.
