Kenneth Doherty

Kenneth Doherty has extensive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, currently serving as Assistant Vice President at Wayne State University since February 1994. In this role, Kenneth oversees all aspects of Procurement, managing the Purchasing, ProCard, and Strategic Sourcing sections, which include a team of six buyers and two full-time Procurement Card personnel. Prior to this, Kenneth held a progressive career at Comerica Bank from June 1979 to February 1994, culminating as a Purchasing Agent and participating in the merger of multiple banks into the Comerica family. Kenneth holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Wayne State University, earned between 1996 and 1999.
