Nick Denardis

Nick DeNardis is a seasoned professional in digital communications, currently serving as the Senior Director of Digital Communications at Wayne State University since January 2005, where responsibilities include advancing the university's digital presence and coordinating internet strategy across various platforms. Additional roles at Wayne State include Adjunct Faculty in the School of Information Science and Interim Web Accessibility Coordinator. Nick is also involved with TEDxDetroit as the Executive Producer and Technical Director since 2009, overseeing all technical aspects of the event. Previous experience includes teaching Intro to Web Development at the University of Washington and hosting on EDU Checkup, alongside running a web design agency, Covered Pixels, from 2005 to 2011. Nick holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, both from Wayne State University.
