Robert Bruner

Robert Bruner is an experienced municipal leader currently serving as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Troy, Michigan, since June 2019, while also contributing as a part-time faculty member at Wayne State University since September 2013. Previously, Bruner held significant positions including Chief Executive Officer at the Michigan Municipal Services Authority, Interim City Manager for the City of Mount Clemens, and City Manager for both the City of Birmingham and City of Ferndale, where responsibilities included comprehensive administration of various city departments. Earlier roles included Assistant City Manager in Ypsilanti, Public Information Officer with FEMA, and Assistant to the City Manager in Oak Park, along with consulting at Accenture.
