Wayne Township Public Schools
Kirsten Heller is an experienced educator with a focus on English special education and instructional technology. Heller has been serving as an English Special Education Teacher at Wayne Township Public Schools since February 2001, providing out-of-class resources and in-class support for 9th and 10th grade English. Prior to this role, Heller worked as an English Teacher in the Elmwood Park Board of Education School District from February 1999 to February 2001. The Wayne Township public school district consists of two high schools (Wayne Valley and Wayne Hills), three middle schools (Schuyler Colfax, George Washington, and Anthony Wayne), and nine elementary schools (Theunis Dey, Ryerson, Randall Carter, Pines Lake, Packanack, Lafayette, John F. Kennedy, James Fallon, and AP Terhune) and an Early Childhood Center at Preakness. These 15 schools serve more than 8,500 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
