James Packer has a range of work experience in supply chain and logistics roles. James started their career in 1996 as a Director of Supply Chain Management at Intellitecs, where they worked until 1999. James then moved on to Sealy, where they held various positions including Manager of E-procurement Systems and Processes, Director of Logistics and Demand Planning, and VP of Supply Chain Management from 2000 to 2012. In 2013, Packer joined Wayne Trademark as the VP of Supply Chain and Controller, and most recently, they have been semi-retired since November 2019 at Lowe's Companies, Inc.

From 1978 to 1982, James Packer attended The Pennsylvania State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management.
