Dan Loflin

Dan Loflin is currently an advisor at Waypoint. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President at Qcells North America from July 2021 to February 2022. Dan transitioned from Geli to Hanwha Q CELLS Distributed Energy Solutions business and launched the C&I Solar Storage Development business unit, along with Demand Response and Asset Management solutions.

From January 2015 to July 2021, Dan was the Chief Executive Officer at Geli. Geli provides software and business solutions to design, automate, and manage energy storage systems. Geli’s suite of products creates an ecosystem where project developers, OEMs, financiers, and project operators can deploy advanced energy projects using a seamless hardware-agnostic software platform.

Dan was at Locus Energy from January 2011 to December 2015 as the Executive Vice President responsible for OEM and Enterprise business development.

Prior to that, they were the Entrepreneur in Residence at Globespan Capital Partners from January 2008 to December 2008. And before that, they were the Director - Enterprise Master Data Solutions at IBM Software Group from January 2004 to December 2007.

Dan Loflin has a MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Politcal Science from Columbia University in the City of New York.
