Gay Poteet

Gay Poteet, CAE, currently serves as Accounting Manager at Wayside Waifs since November 2024. Previously, Gay held the position of Director of Finance at The Family Conservancy from July 2021 to November 2024 and served as Director of Business Operations at Good Samaritan Project from August 2017 to June 2021. Additionally, Gay volunteered as Assistant Chair of the Training Team for BSA HOAC Shawnee Trails from March 2016 to December 2019 and managed client accounting at Support Kansas City from August 2015 to March 2016. Gay’s earlier experience includes a role as Operations Manager at BEMA, an association for baking industry suppliers, from July 2005 to March 2015. Gay earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Montana State University Billings between 1980 and 1984.
