Wayside Youth & Family Support Network
Darlene Florencio is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in community-based therapy and support services. Currently serving as a Community Based Clinician at Wayside Youth & Family Support Network since February 2018, Darlene specializes in in-home individual and family therapy, focusing on behavioral health and family dynamics. Prior to this role, Darlene worked as a Geriatric Support Services Coordinator at BayPath Elder Services, Inc., where Darlene coordinated services to improve client health and safety for elderly individuals. Darlene's experience also includes managing a private counseling practice serving children and families and providing therapeutic support as a Mental Health Targeted Case Manager at Legacy Behavioral Health Center. Darlene holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from UNISA - Universidade de Santo Amaro in Brazil.

Founded in 1977, Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is a nonprofit, nationally accredited human services agency dedicated to building strength, hope and resiliency through its family-based outreach services, residential treatment programs, and community-based counseling services to thousands of children, youth and families throughout Central, Eastern and Northeastern Massachusetts.
