Kevin M. Simon, MD, MPH has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Prior to that, they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. During their medical studies, they also pursued additional training in Clinical Research at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 2013 to 2014.
Before pursuing a medical degree, Kevin earned their Bachelor's degree in Biology / Sociology from Morgan State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2008.
In addition to their education, Kevin has obtained several certifications. Kevin M. is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM), which they achieved in February 2022. Kevin M. is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, certified as a Buprenorphine Provider by the Drug Enforcement Administration since June 2018. Furthermore, they hold medical licenses from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine and the Georgia Composite Medical Board, though the exact dates of obtaining these licenses are not provided.
