Brendan O’Connor

Brendon is responsible for the development of Waystar’s long-term strategy as well as sourcing, evaluation, and execution of mergers and acquisitions.

Brendan joined Waystar in 2018 as Vice President of Corporate Development and has more than a decade of experience in corporate development, private equity, and capital markets roles.

Prior to joining Waystar, Brendan served as the corporate development leader at Cotiviti, a provider of healthcare payment integrity solutions. Before that, he served as a member of the investment team at Lightyear Capital, an NYC-based private equity firm. Brendan began his career in investment banking in the Leveraged Finance group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.

Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
