Kevin Ewer has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Kevin is currently serving as the Head of Research/Distribution Advisory at Waystone since March 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Research at MontLake starting from August 2017. In 2016, Kevin worked as a Portfolio Manager at Skybound Capital for a period of four months. From October 2010 to September 2015, they served as a Senior Fund Manager at Sanlam FOUR (formerly known as Sanlam International Investments and Blue Ink Global). Before that, they worked as a Director/Portfolio Manager at Blue Ink Investments from April 2006 to October 2010. Kevin also has experience as a Director at Riscura Solutions from January 2000 to March 2006. Kevin began their career as a Risk Analyst at Sanlam Asset Management from January 1998 to December 1999.
Kevin Ewer attended Kearsney College from 1990 to 1993. In 1993, they went on to study at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance, which they completed in 1997. In 2006, Kevin attended the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) program but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study.
