Adam Ward

Adam Ward has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. Adam is currently the Department Head & Professor at Oregon State University, a position they assumed in March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the CEO of WayZada starting from July 2020. From July 2014 to March 2022, Adam was an Associate Professor at the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa from 2011 to 2014. Adam's career started in 2005 as a Project Engineer at Spicer Group, where they worked until 2008.

Adam Ward received their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Enterprise (Entrepreneurship) from Michigan Technological University in 2005. Adam then pursued a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the same university and completed it in 2006. Later, Adam Ward attended Penn State University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Civil Engineering and Geoscience in 2011.
