Nischal Shetty

Nischal Shetty is the Co-founder and President at Shardeum, a community-driven, sharded, infinitely scalable, and truly decentralized layer 1 blockchain. Nischal started working at Shardeum in February 2022. Before that, they founded WazirX in March 2018, a platform for cryptocurrency trading. Prior to WazirX, they founded Crowdfire in February 2010, a social media management tool. Nischal also worked as a Software Developer at burrp! (network18) from October 2009 to March 2011, and as a Software Executive at 3i Infotech from July 2007 to October 2009. Nischal briefly founded Twi5 in January 2009, a platform for finding Twitter applications and offering related services.

Nischal Shetty attended Jankidevi Public School from 1999 to 2001. Nischal then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2003 to 2007.
