Carlos Vendrell

Carlos Vendrell's work experience begins in 2011 as an Analyst of IT systems at Electronica Valle S.A., where they were responsible for Linux access management, network support, DBA, and business applications support.

In 2018, Carlos became an IT Manager at Grupo Zeramiko, where they completed various tasks such as migrating CMS and ERP servers to the cloud with Windows Server 2016, conducting security audits based on business demand, and rebuilding corporate security protocols to comply with ISO 27000 and 27001 standards.

Moving on, in 2020, Carlos took on the role of Sr. Cybersecurity & Operations Analyst at SMS Sudamérica. During this time, they contributed to cybersecurity and operational analysis.

In 2022, Carlos joined Plesk as a Support Engineer, where they provided support until 2023.

Most recently, in 2023, Carlos became a Security Support Engineer at Wazuh, Inc. where they currently work.

Carlos Vendrell attended Instituto John F Kennedy from 2007 to 2011, where they studied systems analysis and computer analysis. However, no specific degree was mentioned. In addition to their education, Carlos obtained several certifications from Plesk. Carlos achieved the Plesk Obsidian for Linux Expert Certification and the Plesk Obsidian for Windows Expert Certification in November 2022. Carlos also obtained the Plesk Obsidian Professional certification in May 2022.
