Damian Nicastro

Damian Nicastro has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and technical roles. Damian is currently working as a Senior IT Security Engineer at Wazuh, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Red Hat as a Senior Technical Support Engineer, providing customer support for Red Hat Identity Management. Damian also worked at Mahindra Comviva as an Integration and Analysis Engineer and at TIVIT as a Presales Engineer, supporting IT services and project management for Coca Cola Andina. Damian has also held positions at Indra, the Japanese Embassy in Argentina, Amdocs, ISA INTERNEXA, Avaya, and CLAdirect, gaining experience in various technical roles including IT infrastructure support, network development and support engineering, OSS support, and system engineering. Damian possesses certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) RHEL 8.x.

Damian Nicastro has a diverse education history. Damian obtained a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering from Osaka University, studying from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Rosario, attending from 1994 to 2002. Damian began their educational journey by obtaining a degree in Mechanic and Electric Technician from Escuela Industrial Superior between 1986 and 1992, focusing on mechanics and electricity.

In addition to their formal education, Damian has also obtained several certifications. In June 2021, they became a MicroStrategy Certified Architect (MCA) through the MicroStrategy institution. In May 2021, Damian achieved the MicroStrategy Certified Analyst (ANL) certification from the same institution. Furthermore, in August 2020, they acquired the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification from Red Hat.
