Elwali Karkoub has worked as an IT Security Engineer at Wazuh, Inc. since October 2018. Prior to this, they were a Junior Data Engineer at Walirian from February 2018 to August 2018. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at IBM iX from April 2017 to September 2017.

Elwali Karkoub completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering/Génie Logiciel from ENSTA Bretagne from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications including the eWPT (eLearnSecurity Web Application Penetration Tester) certification in January 2022, the eJPT (eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester) certification in June 2020, and the IC3 certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in June 2014.
