Valerie Preactor is a seasoned sports anchor and reporter currently working at WBAL NewsRadio 1090 and FM 101.5 since July 2022. Previously, Valerie held various roles in the sports media industry, including a production assistant at NBC Sports Washington and a programming assistant at 98 Rock Baltimore. During a brief tenure at play by play, Valerie served as a counselor and mentor, facilitating youth group activities related to sports broadcasting. Valerie's experience also includes writing and social media coordination for Inside Lacrosse, sideline reporting and commentary for ESPN+ and Mason Cable Network, and a marketing internship with Sage Communications.
