Force Protection Analyst at WBB

Steven Hoffen began their work experience in 1996 as a Master at Arms Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy, a role they held until 2007. Steven then served as a Security Officer and Antiterrorism Officer on the USS ESSEX from 2007 to 2009. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) headquarters as a Program Manager. Steven then served as a Force Protection Officer/Security Officer at DESRON 23 from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) as an Operations Officer (STAAT). Steven then became a Security Officer at Naval Base Great Lakes from 2015 to 2017. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a Security Officer at Naval Base Kitsap. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Whitney, Bradley & Brown (WBB) as a Force Protection Analyst.

Steven Hoffen completed their education at American Military University from 2010 to 2022, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications and qualifications. These include FEMA 300 and FEMA 400 certifications from FEMA, obtained in July 2020. In October 2016, they obtained a Current U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) from the United States Department of Defense. Steven also received certifications as a U.S. Navy Law Enforcement and Security Officer, Shore Activity, NOBC - 2775 in January 2016, U.S. Navy Law Enforcement and Security Officer, Afloat - NOBC - 2771 in September 2013, U.S. Navy Staff Readiness Officer - NOBC 9067 in January 2012, U.S. Navy Law Enforcement and Security Officer, Staff - NOBC 2750 in December 2011, and U.S. Navy Force Protection Officer Afloat, NOBC-2780 in October 2007. Furthermore, they completed the Special Agent Basic Training Program from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) in April 2010 and obtained the Executive Protection Specialist - NEC 2009 certification, also from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), in April 2004.
