Marc Gijsbers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainable agriculture and food systems. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Marc has advanced through various roles within the organization since February 2021, focusing on positive agricultural practices. Previously, Marc operated Gijsbers Entertainment as an entrepreneur, offering music production and event management services for eight years. Marc has also held positions as a Relationship Manager at Arctic Basecamp, a Consultant at Commonland, and an Intern at PwC. Educationally, Marc holds multiple Master's degrees in Environmental Sciences and International Management from renowned institutions, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration and an exchange experience in Management and Anthropology. As Chairman of the 40th STAR Board, Marc led Europe’s largest study association at the Rotterdam School of Management.
