Laura Swenson

As the Senior Director of Events, Laura manages WBENC’s event design, project management, and overall coordination of WBENC’s national events. She works closely with both the WBENC staff and a robust team of vendors to execute exciting and engaging events.

Laura joined the WBENC team in 2014 after working six years in television and film production, including three years working for a WBENC-Certified WBE. Growing up outside of DC, in Maryland, Laura graduated with a BS in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington.
