Clare Lane

Clare Lane is an accomplished anchor and reporter with extensive experience in radio journalism. Currently serving as the primary fill-in anchor for the morning edition and All Things Considered at Chicago Public Media since January 2022, Clare has also held positions such as the Afternoon Traffic Anchor at WBBM Newsradio and Traffic Reporter at CBS Radio. Previously, Clare hosted NPR's Weekend Edition for WBEZ 91.5fm and contributed as a co-editor at Ragan Communications and PR Daily. Clare's career began with roles at Chicago Public Media and LocalLabs, alongside a strong educational background, including a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Colorado Boulder.
