Emily Jankowski is an accomplished sound designer and technical producer with extensive experience in audio production for podcasts and radio. Currently serving as a Sound Designer for WBUR Podcasts since January 2022, Emily previously worked at KPBS from February 2014 to January 2022, where responsibilities included directing sound design for the "Port of Entry" podcast and supporting various content creation projects for KPBS Radio's Midday Edition. Emily's early career includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego, focusing on sound design for theatre, and as a Media and Technology Resource Assistant at the Qualcomm Institute, facilitating communication between event services and audio/visual teams. Emily holds a Master of Fine Arts in Sound Design for Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts, Music, both from UC San Diego.
