Yasmin Amer is an accomplished media professional with a strong background in reporting and producing. Currently serving as the Executive Producer of WBUR's Radio Boston, Yasmin has been with the organization since December 2016, focusing on original stories related to business, labor, and innovation. Yasmin's experience includes roles as a reporter and producer, where engaging stories across New England are highlighted. Previously, Yasmin was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University and worked at CNN for six years in various positions including Writer/Producer and International Newsource Editor. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Boston University, a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
