Matthew Schooley

Matthew Schooley is an experienced web producer currently with CBS Boston Local Digital Media since August 2014, focusing on creating news, feature, and sports content. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a local editor at Patch.com from January 2011 to August 2014, where responsibilities included covering various topics under tight deadlines, shooting and editing multimedia content, and significantly growing social media engagement. Earlier experience includes staff reporter roles at Neighborhood News, Inc. and freelance writing for various daily newspapers, along with impactful internships that contributed to sports journalism and publication development. A graduate of Springfield College with a degree in Communications and Sports Journalism/English, Matthew has developed a strong foundation in effective storytelling and media production throughout a diverse career in journalism.
