Paul Phrampus

Paul Phrampus, MD, MBA, CPE, serves as a Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine since July 2000 and holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. In addition, Paul Phrampus has been the Medical Director of Patient Safety at UPMC since December 2006 and serves as the Director of the Peter M. Winter Institute for Simulation, Education and Research (WISER) within the Department of Anesthesiology. Paul Phrampus earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and a BS in Biology from Old Dominion University.
