Lewis Karpel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in photography, video editing, and broadcasting. Lewis is currently working as the Chief Photographer at WCCO | CBS Minnesota since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Photojournalist, Video Editor, and Transmission Technician at the same company from November 2016 to September 2021.

In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as an FAA Part 107 sUAS Drone Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in July 2022.
