Matt Lyon

Matt Lyon has over 20 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Matt is currently the Chief Executive Officer and President of WCF Insurance, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of WCF Insurance from September 2017 to April 2022. Before joining WCF Insurance, Lyon worked at Farmers Insurance Group of Companies as the Head of Commercial Insurance Product Management from November 2014 to September 2017. Matt also held the role of Assistant Vice President at The Hartford from January 2009 to October 2014. Lyon's previous experience includes working as the Strategy Director at Nationwide Insurance from December 2006 to January 2009, and as Assistant Vice President - Business Development & Technology at CIS Group from June 2003 to December 2006. Matt began their career at Overland Solutions, Inc., an EXL Company, in a finance role from January 2000 to June 2003.

Matt Lyon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Utah in 2002. Matt then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from DePaul University in 2006.
