Daniel Kavanagh, PhD, RAC, currently serves as a Senior Scientific Advisor in Gene Therapy, Vaccines, and Biologics at WCG since October 2015. Previously, Daniel held positions as an Assistant Immunologist at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2011 to 2015 and as an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Instructor, and Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School from 2003 to 2015. Additionally, Daniel was a Visiting Fellow at Rockefeller University from January 2002 to January 2003. Daniel's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from Oregon Health & Science University, a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Infectious Disease from Harvard Medical School, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Reed College. Daniel has also been involved in immunology research during a program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1990.
