Sandy Smith

Sandy Smith, RN, MSN, AOCN, serves as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Solutions and Strategic Partnerships at WIRB-Copernicus Group since September 2020. Previously, Sandy held various leadership roles at McKesson - US Oncology Research from October 2011 to March 2020, including Vice President, where operations and strategic direction for clinical trials services were led for a network of approximately 1,000 investigators. Sandy also enhanced research operations as Senior Director of Site Services and delivered clinical education services that exceeded EBIT targets as Senior Director of Clinical Education Services. Prior to McKesson, Sandy was Director of Clinical Services and Director of Integrations & Practice Support at The US Oncology Network from January 2006 to October 2011. Sandy holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education and Administration from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Stroudsburg University.
