Scott Hayworth

Scott Hayworth, MD, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Hayworth Ventures, where the focus is on equity advising, consulting, corporate board service, and investment in healthcare. With extensive experience in the healthcare sector, Scott has held notable positions including Senior Advisor at Arsenal Capital Partners and Amulet Capital Partners, LP, and Chairman of the Advisory Board at IKS Global Health. As a former Senior Vice President and Chief Physician Liaison Officer at UnitedHealth Group, Scott was instrumental in corporate growth initiatives and mentorship programs. Throughout his career, Scott has held leadership roles such as President of the Board of Directors for Bedford Physicians Risk Retention Group and CEO of Optum Tri-State, where significant advancements in integrated care strategies and operational efficiencies were achieved. Scott earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University and completed an undergraduate degree at Princeton University.
