Lisa Washington is an accomplished news anchor with extensive experience in broadcasting. Currently serving as a news anchor at WCNC Charlotte since March 2025, Washington has previously held anchor positions at WNEP-TV 16 from November 2020 to March 2025, and KDKA-TV from May 2015 to November 2020, where duties included anchoring morning newscasts. Earlier career experiences include reporting for KPIX-TV and WMC-TV, as well as anchoring at WHNT TV from 2003 to 2010. Washington holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts/Journalism from Clark Atlanta University and a Master’s degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Georgetown University.
