Austin Winfield is an experienced meteorologist currently working at WCPO-TV since June 2019. Previous roles include freelance meteorologist at Spectrum News 1, weekend meteorologist/reporter at WZDX and WLIO, and chief meteorologist at KTVH/KBGF. Austin also served as a meteorologist at WTXL ABC27, and gained early experience as a student meteorologist at 4FSU and through internships with the NOAA National Weather Service and Bay News 9. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Florida State University.
