Grace Yek is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in academia and the food industry. Currently serving as the Program Chair for the Culinary and Food Science program at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College since May 2020, Grace has also contributed as a Food Writer for WCPO-TV and as Food Editor-at-Large for Polly Magazine since 2013 and 2015, respectively. As the Chef/Owner of Food Savvy, Grace has partnered with various clients to enhance their operational and marketing strategies while developing innovative food and beverage products. Previous academic roles include Adjunct Culinary Instructor at The Art Institute of Ohio - Cincinnati and Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati, where Grace significantly advanced the Culinary Arts & Science program. Grace holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Additionally, Grace has been actively involved with the Research Chefs Association and the American Culinary Federation.
