Mike Dyer

Mike Dyer is an accomplished sports reporter with extensive experience in high school and college sports reporting. Currently a high school sports reporter at WCPO-TV since February 2016, Mike covers a wide range of athletic events in the Cincinnati area, providing insights and analyses on various digital platforms. Previous roles include contributing to Prep Hoops Network, where Mike reported on high school boys basketball in Southwest Ohio, and serving as a college recruiting reporter for Enquirer Media, where significant page views were achieved. Throughout a career that began with the Akron Beacon Journal and included various positions at Enquirer Media, Mike has developed a strong network in sports journalism and has earned accolades such as a top 10 national ranking by MaxPreps. Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from The University of Akron.
