Rae Hines

Rae Hines is an accomplished news photographer with extensive experience in the broadcast industry, currently working at WCPO 9 News since June 2022. Previously, Rae held similar roles at WKRC-TV and WLNS-TV, where responsibilities included pitching story ideas, shooting, and editing compelling news packages. Notably, Rae created the initiative “Meet the Reporter Monday’s” to enhance viewer engagement and achieved recognition as the First Runner-Up for the 2019 Associated Press Media Editors “Best Use of Photography” award. In addition to photography, Rae has a background in video production, having worked as a morning news editor and camera operator, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University.
